What does IBC container or IBC tank mean?

Ibc containers for liquidsIBC Container Being Assembled

An IBC is an abbreviation for an intermediate bulk container. These intermediate containers range from 110 to 330 gallons, depending on the type of container your purchase. They are larger than the industry standard 55-gallon drum or basket, though not as large as 500-gallon tanker.  Storage silos are even larger but are not mobile for truck transport. Paper Systems sells non-hazardous and collapsible IBCs.  The most most common liquid storage container is the EZ-SET 275 gallon tote.

The Advantages of IBC Containers

An IBC tank can replace traditional pails, cans, and drums. It helps decrease disposal costs and maximizes freight efficiency. EZ-BULK intermediate bulk containers come with a multi-layer inner bag liner which is made from FDA approved materials. A 275 gallon tote can ship a wide variety of food grade liquids.  All bag liner materials are Kosher approved and IMS Dairy certified. Specific barrier films are available to meet specific requirements.   The 275 gallon tote is so popular as it fits on a standard 48x40 pallet for easy transport and storage.  Not all IBC tanks are created equal.  Strict quality standards and BRC approval make Paper Systems' IBC containers tops in the industrial markets.
